Our Profile
Hi, I’m Umang Sood, the founder of Digitoon Unicoderz, an edtech platform designed to make programming fun and accessible for kids. My journey with computer science began during my teenage years, and while I’ve grown to love coding, it wasn’t always an easy road.
When I was a kid, learning to code felt overwhelming. The resources were either too complicated or uninspiring, and there was no one who could break it down in a simple, engaging way. I often thought, Why isn’t this taught like a fun story or an exciting game?
Even when I pursued my Master’s in Data Science, I noticed the same old approach to teaching: dense lectures, dry examples, and complex theories. It struck me that no matter the level of education, there was still little emphasis on storytelling or making learning enjoyable. This fueled my passion to create a platform where kids could learn coding through creativity and engaging experiences.
At Digitoon Unicoderz, we use a team of unique and vibrant characters to guide young learners through storytelling and relatable examples. Each character plays a role in showing how coding concepts can be applied and learned in a fun, hands-on way.
Whether it’s introducing young minds to Scratch programming or helping teenagers dive into Python and Java, our mission is to equip children with the skills they need to thrive in a tech-driven world—while enjoying every step of the journey!
